Since the beginning of December we have been examining which Land Rover to take off roading.
Each Land Rover model got their own page and write up, and now, at the end of the series, it’s time to decide which models are best.
For superior off roading ability, it has got to be the Defender every time – the iconic shape that everybody thinks of when Land Rover is mentioned.
But for cheap entry into the world of off roading, it has to be a Discovery 1. You can pick one up for £500, slap some mud tyres on it, and go pretty much anywhere a Defender will go – but with a bit more comfort.
