Last week I posted how to fit a Land Rover Defender dog guard.
Now this week, I will take you through a further modification of the dog guard to make a full bulkhead.
I am building my Land Rover for use on surf trips both in the UK and further afield in Europe. So having a secure area in the rear for all my surfboards/skimboards & gear, and an area which is free from prying eyes when I am sleeping in the back is quite important!
With this in mind, I have now added a piece of plywood to the dog guard that i fitted last week which further adds to the security of the rear of the vehicle.
It also means the cab is isolated from the rear of the vehicle, so the famous Land Rover heater hasn’t got to warm up the whole vehicle now – just the cab!
To complete the job to secure the rear, I now have to add some window tint to the rear windows and then fit window guards on the inside.
