What a great it was on Plymouth Hoe on Saturday, with over 150 Land Rover Discoverys lining up to celebrate the 25th birthday of the launch Discovery!
There were many Discoverys there that took part in the launch back in 1989, and these are usually recognised by their G-WAC registration plates. It is so nice to see people putting in the work to save these very early Discoverys.
There were Discoverys of all different types on display, from pristine Discovery 3’s and 4’s to full on modified off road machines and everything in between. I spoke to many of the owners, and it was nice to meet lots of new people. What I love about the Land Rover crowd is they are always super friendly, and always keen to talk and share a brew!
Unfortunately I couldn’t make it back in convoy to the Mt Edgcumbe estate on the Saturday evening. But it was safe to say this was a superb turnout for the 25th Birthday!
If you were there and want any of the photos in full resolution, just get in touch with me using the contact form.
I took so many photos I have had to split the gallery into two parts. Here is the first load of photos, and part 2 can be found here.
