I have spent the last few days getting ready for the Adventure Overland Show that is being held this weekend (28/29 September 2013) at Stratford racecourse in Stratford upon Avon.
More details have come out about the seminars at this years show. There’s something for everybody, from bushcraft and prepping talks, to overlanding with kids. I have already made a list of the seminars I want to attend. For a full breakdown and timings have a look here: Adventure Overland Seminars
There is a whole host of businesses, clubs and food stalls that are going to be there, so I know I am going to be busy with the camera! I am also going to have to be careful not to spend too much on goodies from the various trade stands! For the full list of who’s attending take a look here: Adventure Overland Trade list
Last week I fitted some accessory sockets into the cab of the Land Rover. The 3 sockets have a simple in-built battery meter to monitor battery condition. Its not advanced stuff, but for its more than enough for what I need.
The sockets are needed to power my GPS, charge my phone and run my inverter, so I can power my laptop while I am away at the show.
I have also been checking the vehicle over, sorting out the bed in the back and have been busy filtering vegetable oil to reduce the cost of the journey up from Devon :D
I will be posting to social media over the weekend, so if you want to keep up to date, then follow the Land Rover Blog on Twitter and Instagram, or like us on Facebook. I will then publish a review of the show next week some time.
Hope to see you there!
