Exmoor Challenge Videos

Nicks Disco at the top of the hill climb on the Exmoor Challenge A team of 3 Land Rovers from Torbay 4x4 Club headed up to Exmoor last weekend to take part in the Exmoor Challenge.

Organised by the Wooden Spoon, rugby's charity supporting mentally, physically, and socially disadvantaged children and young people, this unique event is set in the glorious Exmoor countryside and consists of the Jaunt and the Challenge.

The Challenge is more demanding than the Jaunt. Reasonable skills and a suitable vehicle are necessary with challenge teams will need at least one winch per team.

The Torbay team consisted of 2 Discovery's and a 90. According to Nick who took part in the event, Saturday seemed to curse them with illness, broken diffs, queues and miserable weather.

Sunday was a very different day however. Ab fab was one comment - good weather,an enthusiastic land owner, demanding winch challenges and a spectacular hill climb made it a real team event.
